Shotsy vs MeAgain: which GLP-1 tracker fits you?

Quick answer

Shotsy vs MeAgain comes down to focus. Shotsy centers on dose tracking, level charts and analytics, in 17 languages. MeAgain adds photo and barcode food logging and an AI companion, in English. Both are free to download with paid features, and both show 4.8 stars on the US App Store.

Shotsy vs MeAgain is the choice many people weigh when they look for a GLP-1 tracker, because both sit at the top of the US App Store for those searches. They overlap on dose logging and reminders, then split on food logging, languages and how they report handling your data.

We make Kapi, a third tracker, so treat this as a competitor's view. Every fact here comes from the public App Store pages on 4 November 2026, and Kapi sits in the tables so you can hold us to the same standard.

When does Shotsy fit better?

Shotsy's page leads with medication tracking. It lists several medicines running at once on separate schedules, estimated level charts for semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide and dulaglutide, and charts for weight, side effects and nutrition. It also imports weight, calories, protein and water from Apple Health.

It suits you if you take more than one medicine, or if you want the app in a language other than English.

When does MeAgain fit better?

MeAgain's page gives more room to daily food and symptoms. You can log meals by photo, barcode or search, track protein, fiber and water, and see symptoms beside food, weight and dose days. It also lists Capy, an AI companion that works in the app or over iMessage.

It suits you if food logging matters as much as the shot itself and English works for you. The page says some features require a subscription.

What do the App Privacy labels say?

Apple shows what each developer reports about its app. On 4 November 2026 the labels read:

Label sectionShotsyMeAgainKapi
Data used to track youNone listedIdentifiers, Usage DataNone listed
Data linked to youNone listedHealth & Fitness, Purchases, Contact Info, User Content, Search History, Usage Data, Sensitive Info, DiagnosticsNone listed
Data not linked to youHealth & Fitness, User Content, Usage Data, DiagnosticsIdentifiersPurchases, Identifiers, Usage Data, Diagnostics

These labels are self-reported and can vary by feature, so read each app's privacy policy if this matters to you.

Where does Kapi fit?

Kapi is the newer and smaller option. It has no account, and your doses, weights and notes stay on your device. It tracks peptides as well as GLP-1 medicines, and its body map suggests the injection site that has rested longest. Our guide to GLP-1 injection sites covers what the official labels say about rotating them.

It also has clear limits. Kapi has no photo or barcode food logging and no AI companion, and it has no ratings yet because it launched in October 2026.

The free version logs shots, weight and check-ins, keeps your calendar and reminders, and shows your estimated level for the last 7 days. Kapi Plus adds the 30-day and 90-day level views, site rotation after your first 3 shots, weight history beyond 3 months, side-effect patterns and CSV export.

See how Kapi works or download it from the App Store.

Which one should you choose?

Choose by what you will open the app for each day. Records and charts across several medicines point to Shotsy, and meals and symptoms point to MeAgain. If you want no account and a map of your sites, try Kapi. All three are free to download, so you can compare them on your own phone.

Whichever you use, treat it as a record. Decisions about your dose, schedule and side effects belong with your prescriber.
