MeAgain app review: cost, free version and what users say

Quick answer

MeAgain is free to download, and its website says the free version has no time limit. The US App Store lists purchases from $14.99 to $119.99. It has 4.8 stars from about 40K ratings. Most of the 500 newest reviews are positive, but some say a subscription screen stopped them.

This MeAgain app review looks at what the app costs and how far the free version goes, because its own App Store reviews keep raising both questions. MeAgain is a GLP-1 tracker for iPhone and Android with 4.8 stars from about 40K US ratings.

We make Kapi, a competing tracker, so treat this as a competitor's view. We did not test MeAgain ourselves. Everything below comes from its App Store page, its website and its 500 newest US App Store reviews, all read on 5 November 2026.

Its App Store page lists logging for GLP-1 shots and pills, injection sites, reminders and medication-level context between doses. It also covers food by photo, barcode or search, plus protein, fiber, water, side effects, weight and progress photos.

How much does MeAgain cost?

MeAgain is free to download. On 5 November 2026 the US App Store listed 10 in-app purchases, all named Unlimited: $14.99 (listed three times), $19.99, $24.99, $34.99, $39.99, $59.99, $69.99 and $119.99.

Apple's list does not say which price goes with which billing period, and we found no pricing page on MeAgain's website. Recent reviewers mention monthly prices of $19.99 and $24.99, and payments of about $40, $60 and $70. Prices can change, so read the plan and billing period on the purchase screen before you confirm.

What does the free version include?

MeAgain's website says the free version has no time limit and covers shot logging with reminders, the estimated medication-level graph, side effects and food logging. It says Premium adds Journey Cards, progress photos, the Capybara widget and unlimited Capy chat.

Recent reviews disagree on how this works in practice. In our sample, 9 reviewers gave 4 or 5 stars and said they use or used the app free, 7 of them on the current version. Another 5 said a subscription screen stopped them going further, 2 of them on the current version. Three reviewers said no free trial was offered.

We did not test the app, so we can't say which experience is more common. If you want the free version, read the subscription screen closely before you tap anything.

These are the 500 newest reviews in Apple's public US feed, dated 30 July to 3 November 2026. That is a small slice of about 40K ratings, and people who write reviews choose to, so read this as a sample.

Food comes up most. A simple word search finds 194 reviews (39%) that use a word such as food, barcode, protein or meal, and most of those give 5 stars.

Of the 54 reviews at 3 stars or below, we read 13 as mainly about price, the paywall or value for money. Another 7 describe technical problems: sync, barcode scanning, login, loading or lost data.

Who does MeAgain suit?

MeAgain suits you if food logging matters as much as the shot, English works for you, or you use Android. If you mainly want a shot log, compare the free version with lighter trackers before you pay for a plan.

Its App Privacy label lists data linked to you, including Health & Fitness. The full label is in our Shotsy vs MeAgain comparison.

How does Kapi compare?

Kapi is the newer and smaller option, with no ratings yet and no Android version. It has no photo or barcode food logging and no AI companion.

It needs no account, and your doses, weights and notes stay on your device. It tracks peptides as well as GLP-1 medicines, comes in 10 languages, and its body map suggests the site that has rested longest. Our guide to GLP-1 injection sites covers what the official labels say about rotating them.

On the US App Store, Kapi Plus is $29.99 a year or $4.99 a week. The free version logs shots, weight and check-ins, keeps your calendar and reminders, and shows your estimated level for the last 7 days.

See how Kapi works or download it from the App Store.

Whichever app you use, treat it as a record. Decisions about your dose, schedule and side effects belong with your prescriber.
